Good morning, The waiting period for the Ripcurl Pro Bells Beach started yesterday, with round 1 of the womens division being completed! Unfortunately NZ's Paige Hareb was religated into round 2, after placing 3rd in her heat. With a great swell forecast for the weekend competition is unlikely to resume until Saturday. CLICK HERE to catch all the action live!! Very windy and wet for much of the country today, making stormy conditions for many spots. West coast spots are the best bet with surf in the 2-3 foot range, however strong offshore winds will be a factor today. Rapidly rising wind swell on for spots East Cape North, but it will be virtually impossible to find a sheltered spot from the wind. A few waves for spots East Cape South this morning before the NE wind rises later in the day. Michel Bourez has taken out the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro by defeating Josh Kerr in the final! In other news NZ's Kehu Butler has finished 7th at the World Junior Champs in Ecuador! Well done Kehu!
